from testing to collecting your certificate, is normally 2 Weeks. There is NO written test, only speaking and understanding Basic English, is sufficient

If you come from Outside the E.U. (European Union) You will not be allowed to live or work, in the United Kingdom, unless you have passed an official English language test, approved by UK Home Office (UK Borders Agency).
